Introduction of Rod Mill

Rod mill is the equipment which uses these steel bars to grind materials. The rod mill has strong "selective grinding" characteristics, before the operation, it will firstly grind the material with larger particles, and the smaller particles will fall from the gap between the bar and rod, therefore it has less over crushing phenomenon, which directly improves the working efficiency of the machine. 

When the grinding fineness is scheduled to 1~3mm, the efficiency of rod mill is much larger than the same specification, by contrast, rod mill is more suitable for the coarse grinding of materials.

Rod mill can be divided into dry rod mill and wet rod mill, now the commonly used rod mill in the production process is mainly the wet rod mill. According to the different discharging ways, wet rod mill can be divided into: overflow rod mill, open mouth rod mill and surrounding rod mill, of which the overflow rod is the main product.
