Introduction of Magnetic Separation Plant

Magnetic separation is the separation process which uses different mineral coefficient to separate magnetic material from the mixture through magnetic force and mechanical force. Magnetic separation process is made up of vibrating feeder, chute feeder, jaw crusher, vibrating screen, ball mill, classifier, magnetic separator, thickener and drying machine and other major equipment. 

When combined with the feeder, elevator and conveyor, they can constitute a complete ore dressing line. The production line can cast more than 70% of the waste impurities, clean and purify the iron concentrate grade to above 65%. 

Production Process:

The production process of magnetic separation process generally includes: (material bin) - feeder - jaw crusher - fine crusher - ball mill - spiral classifier - magnetic separator (it can obtain powder)

First of all, the mined ore is crushed by the jaw crusher as preliminary crushing and then the fine crusher will crush it into the reasonable size. Through elevator and feeder, the materials will be evenly transferred into the ball mill for crushing and grinding.

Secondly, through the fine grinding by ball mill, the ores will move into the classification process. With different proportion of solid particles in the liquid and the principle of different precipitation speed, the ore will be mixed, washed and classified.

Thirdly, after cleaning and grading of the minerals, due to the different coefficient of minerals, a variety of minerals will be separated by the magnetic separator through magnetic force and mechanical force.

Tips:

1. The operating personnel should be familiar with the equipment, and regularly check the equipment.
2. Start the equipment according to the production process, and it is strictly prohibited to load starting.
3. During the production process, you should always observe the operation conditions of production line.
4. After shutting down the machine, you should clean the production equipment.
5. The timing maintenance of the production line.
